DENVER ~ Governor Polis issued an Executive Order today memorializing verbal action taken in response to the Lowline Fire in Gunnison County. The Order activates the Colorado Emergency Operations Plan and allocates funds for costs associated with the State's fire suppression, response, consequence management, mitigation, and recovery efforts related to the Lowline Fire. Additionally, it amends a previous Executive Order issued on August 22, 2020 in response to the Pine Gulch Fire in Mesa and Garfield Counties by extending the duration provision for funding for an additional 24 months.
