DENVER ~ Denver - The state of Colorado mourns the loss of LGBTQ rights pioneer Barney Frank, as announced by Governor Jared Polis in a statement released today. Governor Polis and Frank had served together in the United States House of Representatives from 2009 to 2013.

In his statement, Governor Polis expressed his deep sadness over the passing of his friend and colleague.
