SOUTHERN COLORADO ~ In Southern Colorado, Governor Jared Polis held a gathering with small business owners, insurance experts, and healthcare leaders to emphasize the importance of Congress renewing the Enhanced Premium Tax Credits. If not renewed by September 30th, this could result in significant premium increases for all Americans.

During his visit to Southern Colorado, Governor Polis also took the opportunity to tour the Orman Mansion in Pueblo. This historic home was once the residence of James B. Orman, Colorado's 12th Governor. Built in 1890 with Manitou Red Sandstone, the mansion served as the Governor's Residence during Orman's term from 1901-1903.

Expressing his excitement about visiting the Orman Mansion, Governor Polis stated that every part of Colorado has a unique story and with the state approaching its historic sesquicentennial or 150th birthday, it is an ideal time to learn more about its history.
