BOULDER ~ Boulder, Colorado - In the wake of a targeted attack on the Jewish community in Boulder, Governor Jared Polis has released a statement condemning the heinous act and expressing his support for the victims and their families. The governor continues to closely monitor the situation as it unfolds.

The attack, which occurred this afternoon, left several individuals injured. Governor Polis expressed his sympathy for those who were hurt and praised the first responders who quickly arrived on the scene to provide medical attention and apprehend the suspect.

According to officials, there were six victims wounded in today's attack, ranging in age from 67 to 88 years old. Two of them sustained serious injuries. As authorities continue to investigate, several blocks in downtown Boulder remain closed as they search for any additional devices.
