Fremont ~ Fremont County, Colorado - In a press release today, Governor Jared Polis and the Business Funding & Incentives (BF&I) division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) announced that Mytikas Manufacturing has become the first business in Fremont County to join the Rural Jump-Start program.
Mytikas Manufacturing is a producer of sustainable, high-efficiency galvanized steel components and zero-waste tiny homes. The company utilizes high-tech extrusion equipment and is projected to create 170 new jobs in Fremont County while delivering cost-efficient, durable, and eco-friendly housing solutions.
Governor Polis expressed his pride in welcoming Mytikas Manufacturing to the community, stating that their innovative solutions will not only stimulate the local economy but also address housing needs across the state. He also highlighted how the Rural Jump-Start initiative helps to generate jobs and enhance the quality of life in rural areas.
The company plans to make initial hires and begin production during the third quarter of 2025. Chief Financial Officer Eric J. Bonick expressed his gratitude for OEDIT's support through the Rural Jump-Start and Innovative Housing Incentive programs, stating that it was crucial in bringing their vision to life in Colorado.

The Rural Jump-Start program aims to encourage economic development and job creation in economically distressed, rural counties of Colorado. It provides funding for regional economic and workforce development activities that seek to expand local businesses, create new good-paying jobs, and strengthen and diversify local economies.
