GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- Mathew Kaufman, worker's compensation attorney at Kaufman & Kaufman in Glenwood Springs, celebrated Riverfest with other members of the community this year. Riverfest is a trash cleanup for Colorado rivers and our gold metal fishing waters. The Colorado river is a lifeline for many people, providing the water supply for many western states.
Riverfest is a time to celebrate and give back to the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers. Mathew Kaufman, worker's compensation attorney in Colorado at Kaufman and Kaufman shared his boat and time to pick up trash along the river. The group picked up everything from bottles and cans to plastic, metal and trash as well as steel recyclables left over from the railroads.
