COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The annual Colorado Springs Veterans Day Parade returns to downtown Colorado Springs on Saturday, Nov. 6 and will incorporate the theme of "The Greatest Generation." Scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., the event is free and open to the public.
Due to the parade, from 7 a.m.-noon Saturday, Tejon Street will be closed from Cache la Poudre Street to Cimarron Street, and the following will be closed between Cascade and Nevada avenues, Dale Street, Monument Street, Willamette Street, St. Vrain Street, Boulder Street, Platte Avenue, Bijou Street, Kiowa Street, Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Avenue, Vermijo Avenue and Costilla Street.
Event parking is available in public parking garages. Parking rates can be found at ColoradoSprings.gov/Parking. For more information on the parade, visit COSVetsParade.org.

City of Colorado Springs administrative and elected administrative offices and agencies will be closed Thursday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day, including:

Skate in the Park in Acacia Park presented by Academy Bank, an annual downtown tradition offered by the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department, opens to the public on Friday, Nov.12. Tickets will be sold onsite only. More information can be found at DowntownCS.com/Skate.
