DENVER, July 23, 2025 ~ Denver, CO - UnionHub, a fintech and insurtech platform specifically designed for TPAs, brokers, associations, and insurance carriers, has officially launched its comprehensive benefits and payment ecosystem. The platform aims to solve one of the industry's long-standing challenges by providing a simple, fast, and fully integrated solution for benefits administration.
Led by President Ed Haley, UnionHub was built entirely in-house by a team based in Denver. The platform is completely bespoke and eliminates the need for patchwork software, manual data entry, and outdated payment systems. It combines benefits enrollment, compliance tracking, CRM functionality, ACH and payment processing, and real-time reporting into one unified hub.
According to Founder Edward Haley, the idea for UnionHub stemmed from a simple question: "Can we manage benefits for a million members with the same resources it takes to handle a thousand?" When they found no scalable solution that could deliver on this goal, they decided to build their own.
One of the key features of UnionHub is its proprietary Pay Day Deduction System. This system enables seamless collection of insurance premiums and membership fees through ACH withdrawals that are synced directly with payroll cycles. This significantly reduces missed payments, billing errors, and administrative overhead. Additionally, the platform's self-service portal empowers employees and members to manage their benefits independently while also reducing the burden on administrative teams.

UnionHub was also built with LIMRA compliance in mind. The platform aligns with the industry's most widely accepted standards for data exchange, security, and carrier integration. By supporting LIMRA's Data Exchange (LDEx) Standards, UnionHub enables secure and efficient transfer of enrollment, billing, and eligibility data between vendors and carriers. This compliance helps streamline onboarding with top insurance providers while also reducing integration costs and ensuring interoperability with existing carrier systems.
UnionHub is bringing new life to an otherwise stagnant insurance ecosystem. By expanding coverage options, enrolling previously unreached workers, and driving premium volume at scale, UnionHub is revolutionizing the voluntary benefits space. This growth not only fuels innovation but also provides data-driven insights to carriers and helps create smarter, more inclusive products. It is a win-win-win for employees, employers, unions, associations, and insurance partners.
Currently, UnionHub supports thousands of users daily across various industries and employers. This includes the more than 1.4 million members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, one of the largest and most diverse labor unions in the United States. The Teamsters represent workers in industries such as freight driving, warehousing, aviation, rail, logistics, and public service. Their members include employees of well-known companies like UPS, ABF Freight, Republic Airways, DHL, Union Pacific, BNSF Railway, Costco and many others nationwide.
