DENBIGH, Wales - ColoradoDesk -- TP Transcription Limited are proud to be partners in a project with the University of Salford to develop an AI-powered transcription solution tailored specifically for academia.
Working with Professor Mo Saraee and his team in the Data Science, Computer Science & Software Engineering Departments and the Data Science and AI Hub at The University of Salford-Manchester, the project has been awarded £289,821.52 by Innovate UK to develop an AI-powered transcription solution tailored specifically for academia.
Professor Saraee said, "This award is a fantastic opportunity for both TP Transcription Limited and the Data Science DSAI Hub at the University of Salford as we work together to revolutionize how audio and video files are transcribed into text for academic research and analysis. With a focus on user-friendly interfaces, exceptional accuracy, and cost-effectiveness, we aim to set a new benchmark in the field."

Anna Gresty, Managing Director of TP Transcription Limited said she was delighted to hear the news. "This is a wonderful opportunity for our company to collaborate with the University of Salford team to invest in research and development around the use of AI in the transcription sector, specifically to look at academic transcription work, something usually overlooked by the current generalist transcription providers.
