Palm Done Right Month -- Giving Consumers Choices To #UniteForPalmDoneRight
BOULDER, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- This September marks the third annual Palm Done Right Month when consumers and the industry come together and take a stand for sustainable choices. Palm Done Right (PDR), a mission-based educational platform continues to educate the public about the many benefits of palm oil. PDR believes it's critical to support companies and brands that use palm oil that is designated 100% organic, deforestation-free, wildlife friendly, fair and social.
Palm Done Right continues to scale its efforts and now has a network of over 100 Palm Done Right partners who support and share the PDR mission. This increase in the partner network enables them to have a greater impact on farmers, workers, communities and the environment. By converting an additional 33% of hectares from conventional oil palm growing to organic and sustainable palm cultivation, in 2020 alone, PDR is scaling its reach and impacting efforts in the production landscapes.
