"With her background in construction management and civil & environmental engineering, Laurie brings exceptional experience and knowledge in the areas of construction contract disputes and drafting, and related construction issues that will be a great benefit to our clients."
With a background in construction management, general contracting, and civil & environmental engineering, Choi provides clients with practical and strategic solutions for real-world construction issues. She counsels clients through construction contract drafting and negotiation, resolution of disputes arising from construction projects, business strategy for providing construction services, filing and bonding around mechanic's liens, and other construction concerns. Choi obtained her Nevada General Contractor's License in 2009. She now focuses on the practice of law in both Colorado and California.

Choi has experience representing general contractors in project closeout and dispute resolutions, defense of extra work and schedule impact claims, design-build agreements, joint venture agreements, design service agreements and subcontract agreements. Additionally, she has represented government contractors in arbitration with a subcontractor in defense of extra work and schedule impact claims.
Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer Choi was a partner with Beltzer Bangert and Gunnell LLP. She also has experience as a project manager with THOR Construction in Las Vegas, Nevada. Choi received her J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law and her B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley.
