CHICAGO & NASHVILLE, Tenn. - ColoradoDesk -- Regent Surgical Health today announced that Melissa Szabad, a partner with Chicago law firm McGuireWoods and the Company's outside counsel, will be joining Regent as General Counsel and serving as a member of Regent's executive leadership team.
Szabad has deep experience in healthcare corporate and regulatory matters, with expertise in ambulatory surgery centers.
"Regent has benefited from Melissa's sharp legal expertise and steady leadership having previously provided counsel on a number of complex deals," said Regent CEO Chris Bishop. "She is the perfect person to lead our legal team during this period of expansion. Szabad earned a J. D., Order of the Coif, at DePaul University College of Law, and a B.A., magna cum laude, at Kenyon College. She has spent her career at McGuire Woods.
