Market-driven showcase connects innovative technology solutions to the oil & gas industry
LAKEWOOD, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- The Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) this week announced the call for applications for their sixth annual Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge (OGCC), the original market-driven showcase model that has created two successful spin-offs in other industries. The OGCC will be held in Denver, Colorado, on November 7, 2019.
The OGCC provides an opportunity for direct, high-value connections between leaders in the oil and natural gas industry and innovative renewable technology solutions. Companies selected for participation in the program have the opportunity to present directly to industry representatives and the winning company receives a cash prize.
"Our original intent in creating the OGCC and subsequent Cleantech Challenge programs was to create ties between traditional industries and new technology innovators to increase the deployment of clean energy technology across sectors," says Mary Austin, CCIA's partnerships director. "Oil and gas companies are increasingly interested in transitioning their infrastructure to include novel and creative solutions that drive increased value as well as efficiencies such as energy savings.
