LOS ANGELES - ColoradoDesk -- Inspired by a vivid dream, Vreeland wrote "Soul Collector" after imagining an entity that feeds on the energy of depressed and lonely souls. "I had this dream about an entity that feeds off the sadness and isolation people feel, and I thought it would be interesting to write a song about it," says Vreeland. The haunting concept, paired with her signature captivating vocals and atmospheric production by co-producer and engineer Sean Gordon, creates a song that is not only musically compelling but also deeply symbolic.
