JACKSON, Miss. - ColoradoDesk -- When Mississippi native Cyrus Webb began hosting the radio show Conversations LIVE in July 2003 he could never imagined the impact it would have. Now in 2023 the show is celebrating 20 years and over 12,000 guests with more to come going into the new year.
"Conversations LIVE has been both a surprise and a blessing to me and so many others," Webb, 48, says. "We have welcomed some of the biggest names in the arts and entertainment industry as well as shared the stories of those who just want to have their voices heard." Some of the notables who have been on the show over the years include stars such as Dionne Warwick, Billy Ray Cyrus, Leeza Gibbons, Mark Nepo, LeVar Burton, Brian McKnight, Tank, Deborah Cox and Miguel Nunez, Jr.
Along the way, Webb has been able to use his platform to also share projects that he personally believes in. Through Conversations Media Group he assists individuals in helping share their own messages through social media and other media platforms. Currently he is working on campaigns featuring rising stars Dr. Teresa A. Smith (author/speaker/media personality), Melissa Banks (Event Planner/author/speaker/media personality), Manswell T. Peterson (author/media personality), Dr. Velma Bagby (author/speaker/media personality), Tina Siemens (author/speaker), CeCe Fann (author/speaker), Lissha Sadler (media personality/author/speaker) and Chanelle Coleman Wesley (author/speaker/voiceover artist).
