Kathairos Solutions Wins the 2021 Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge

BOULDER, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) awarded Canadian company Kathairos Solutions first place at the eighth annual Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge (OGCC) on October 21, 2021. Second place went to QubeTechnologies and third place went to Valence Natural Gas Solutions. The OGCC works to connect clean energy and technology businesses to the oil and natural gas industry.

The winning innovation from Kathairos Solutions system uses liquid nitrogen to completely eliminate fugitive methane emissions from pneumatic devices at remote oil and gas facilities. For more information on their product and company you can visit www.kathairos.com.

CCIA developed the successful Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge model, now in its eighth year, which has seen two spin-offs in other industries (commercial vehicles and mining) in partnership with an internationally recognized team of industry leaders including ConocoPhillips, Chevron, bpx Energy, Ovintiv, the Canadian Consulate General of Denver, the Colorado Energy Office, Holzer Patel Drennan, and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
