WINDSOR, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- She has always had a big heart and a giving spirit.
Sherri's mom died when she was very young. She had a younger sister. She was raised by her dad. Her sister was severely handicapped and stayed institutionalized her entire life. Their Dad passed away a number of years ago with ALS. Sherrie has been her sisters Guardian ever since his death. Her sister, Linda, passed away just 3 weeks before Sherri's diagnosis, and it's been a difficult few months to say the least.
They were living in the State of Washington, but coming to Iowa was a necessity due to her Sisters health problems. They have relatives in Tennessee and had plans to continue onto TN but her diagnosis came before they could continue. So they are still in Iowa, driving 1.5 hours to Iowa City for treatment at the current time. University of Iowa doctors have made contacts at Knoxville TN in the cancer center for her, if they can get there so that they will have family to help care for her.

Your help would be greatly appreciated and your prayers. God only knows what he has in store for her and her family. The cancer has matastized and the tumor in the pancreas is still inoperable after her first round of Chemo. She currently has had a different chemo treatment administered at home but still has to go to U of I hospitals every other week.
Please keep her by keeping her in your prayers and if you can help her in any way financially thru gofundme, it would truly be appreciated.
I am asking for your donations to help my parents with day-to-day bills and relocating to Tennessee where they will be closer to family and the treatment center.
As well in helping meet needs of the overwhelming medical costs as well as possible funeral costs.
The pandemic this past year has taken their income level to almost nothing and are displaced as this illness has them located in Iowa as they were on the way to TN.
Anything you can spare is greatly appreciated as my father needs help to care for my mother as he is also disabled.
