DENVER ~ In a move to ensure the safety of Colorado communities, Governor Polis has taken Executive action today by amending previous Executive Orders for multiple fires and disasters across the state. These include the Gageby Creek Fire, Grizzly Creek and Red Canyon Fire, Cameron Peak Fire, Mullen Fire, East Troublesome Fire, Calwood Fire, Marshall Fire, June 2023 Severe Weather and Flooding, and a Hazardous Materials Incident in Pueblo County.
The amended Executive Order aims to provide additional funds for recovery efforts by utilizing unused funds originally allocated to the June 2023 Severe Weather and Flooding disaster.
