~ As Bike to Work Day approaches, Colorado Springs is gearing up for a day of cycling, community spirit, and free food. Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 24th, more than 40 breakfast stations will be scattered across the city to welcome cyclists with refreshments and fuel for their ride.
To help riders plan their route and locate breakfast stations along the city's bike lanes, trails, and transportation network, an interactive map has been made available. This map allows cyclists to choose their stops, discover new routes, and make the most of their Bike to Work Day experience.
Thousands of riders are expected to participate in this annual celebration of cycling, active transportation, and healthy living. From neighborhood trails to major bike corridors, local businesses, organizations, and community partners will host breakfast stations to keep riders energized throughout the morning.
