DENVER ~ In a mid-legislative session press conference today, Colorado Governor Jared Polis announced that March 15th, 2025 will be proclaimed as Colorado Canada Friendship Day. Joined by Canadian Consul General Sylvain Fabi, Governor Polis expressed his excitement for the upcoming event. "Colorado is opening our arms to celebrate the historic, economic and cultural bilateral friendship with Canada," he stated. "We are made stronger by our connection to international partners like Canada, and Colorado will continue to treat Canada as the strong ally they are."
The governor also highlighted the critical role that the trade relationship and deep ties between the two countries play in lowering costs and expanding opportunities for businesses in Colorado. He expressed pride in their efforts to strengthen opportunities for cultural, technological, and scientific exchange.
