BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. - ColoradoDesk -- Flexible Plan Investments Ltd. (FPI), a leader in risk-managed SMA investment solutions, announced that Executive Vice President Renée Toth will retire effective Sept. 10, 2026, following 35 years with the firm and 45 years working alongside FPI founder and CEO Jerry Wagner.
Toth has played a central role in FPI's growth and development. Her responsibilities have touched most aspects of the business, including oversight of company operations, sales and marketing efforts, coordinating the implementation of trading strategies across the firm's research and client services departments, and maintaining service and trading guidelines across more than three dozen custodial platforms where FPI client assets are invested.
Since joining FPI in 1991, Toth has also helped develop administrative systems and investment products with mutual fund and insurance companies, trust companies, and qualified plan providers.
Toth has held several leadership positions with the National Association of Active Investment Managers, including director, secretary, vice president, president, and chair.

"Few people understand the history and full workings of FPI as Renée does," Wagner said. "She has spent decades connecting the people, systems, and industry relationships required to turn our dynamic investment strategies into solutions financial advisers and clients can use. Her judgment, persistence, and institutional knowledge have been invaluable, and I am deeply grateful for everything she has contributed."
In recent years, Toth has worked to create successful teams for each department at FPI. Together with COO Michelle Higgins, Toth has trained managers, assistant managers, and staff to carry on the important work that she has accomplished during her tenure at FPI.
Reflecting on her time with the firm, Toth said, "FPI has been much more than a place to work. I have had the opportunity to grow alongside the firm, take on new challenges, and work with people who care deeply about what they do. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and grateful for the relationships and experiences that have made these years so meaningful."
Following her retirement, Toth will remain available to FPI in a consulting capacity to support selected transition and business needs.
