DENVER - ColoradoDesk -- kThe Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) today named 12 companies and two individuals as finalists for the 13th Annual Colorado Cleantech Awards. The Cleantech Awards Celebration honors leaders that advance cleantech job creation, corporate growth, individual effort, and ecosystem innovation. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 7 at the in-person Colorado Cleantech Awards Celebration at Stranahan's Whiskey Distillery in Denver, Colorado.
Company finalists were selected based on their ability to impact both Colorado's and the global clean technology market, successful fundraising efforts, ability to scale technology, and statewide job creation impact. Individuals were selected for their commitment to expanding Colorado's cleantech ecosystem and their devotion to the success of their respective organizations.
"CCIA is thrilled to present the 13th Annual Cleantech Awards Celebration, which brings together the vibrant Colorado cleantech ecosystem," said Mary Austin, CCIA's executive director. "We have an exciting event planned that will highlight and celebrate the companies and individuals who are trailblazers in the cleantech sector."

The 2022 Colorado Cleantech Awards Finalists are:
Emerging Cleantech Company: Organizations with no demonstration project and no revenue.
Breakout Cleantech Company: Organizations with a demonstrated project but no revenue.
High Impact Cleantech Company: Mature organizations with growing staff, single or multiple products in the marketplace and positive earnings.
High Impact Global Cleantech Company: Mature organizations with growing staff, single or multiple products in the marketplace and positive earnings. This category represents those high impact cleantech companies that have an existing or expanding global customer base and footprint.
CCIA will also announce individual awards, including the Cleantech Champion and Policymaker of the Year at the celebration on the 7th of December.
