The Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) is hosting a Career Fair on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
NORTHGLENN, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- This event offers a unique opportunity for job seekers interested in the electrical and renewable energy industry to connect with over 15 top companies in Colorado. With more than 100 job openings available, attendees have a favorable chance of securing various positions, ranging from entry-level to experienced roles.
Becoming an electrical apprentice is an excellent way to enter the industry. Apprentices will earn while they learn, working full-time in the field during the day and attending class one night per week. Dedicated students will meet the State's requirements to become a licensed journey worker electrician in as little as four years. The State of Colorado requires 288 of classroom training hours and 8,000 on-the-job training hours to be eligible to take the licensing exam.
