ARVADA, Colo., Dec. 5, 2024 ~ The Denver-area has welcomed a new franchise location of the nationally recognized Kiddie Academy® Educational Child Care. The newly opened Kiddie Academy of Arvada is owned and operated by Avani Halusan and her husband Brian, who are both dedicated to providing high-quality child care services to the community.
Avani, a first-time entrepreneur, has a strong passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children. As a mother and an active member of the Arvada Chamber's Childcare Problem Solver's Council, she understands the need for quality child care in the area. She saw this venture as an opportunity to not only fulfill that need but also create a business with purpose.
One of the unique offerings at Kiddie Academy of Arvada is their weekly yoga practice for children. This practice not only promotes physical activity but also teaches important skills such as emotional regulation and breathing techniques. Avani believes that connecting with nature is crucial for children's development, which is why they have an extensive outdoor playground that serves as an outdoor classroom. The playground features various play structures, art easels, and even a music area. Avani also plans to incorporate a garden area where children can learn about gardening and healthy eating habits.

Avani explains, "The developmental gains from time spent outdoors are well-known, and I personally know how beneficial the practice of yoga is to cultivating a sense of calm and well-being. I wanted to focus on these aspects to create a special space for children to grow."
Located at 9265 Yucca Lane in Arvada, the 11,000 square-foot Academy is well-positioned in the growing community. It boasts 11 classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as a full kitchen for nutritious meals and snacks, a BEAM projector system for indoor active play, and a ZONO sanitizing machine. The curriculum also includes Spanish lessons and chess instruction.
Families in the Arvada area can now have peace of mind knowing that their children are in a safe and nurturing environment at Kiddie Academy of Arvada. For more information, visit kiddieacademy.com/academies/arvada/.
