~ As Veterans Day approaches, Colorado Springs has been recognized as the fifth best city in America for veterans, according to WalletHub's latest analysis. The study evaluated the 100 most populous cities in the United States across 19 indicators in four dimensions to determine which communities provide the best environment for veterans to thrive.
The indicators included veteran unemployment and income growth, housing affordability, access to VA benefits and health facilities, and community supports such as military discounts at local businesses. Colorado Springs stood out in all of these areas, highlighting its strong employment opportunities, quality of life, and access to veteran-centered services.
