Colorado Springs: Music in the Park rescheduled for Sept. 10 at Piñon Valley Park

~ The City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS) Department has announced the rescheduling of their highly anticipated Music in the Park event. Originally planned for July 24 as part of the City's Park and Recreation Month celebration, the event was postponed due to inclement weather. The new date for the event is set for Thursday, Sept. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Piñon Valley Park, located at 5585 Mule Deer Drive.

This free community event promises an evening filled with fun activities for all ages. Attendees can look forward to live music from the SofaKillers, delicious food from various food trucks, a youth kickball game, and exciting giveaways.

Residents are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a relaxing evening of live music and entertainment in the park with their families. The event will kick off at 6 p.m. with food trucks available and registration open for the youth kickball game. The main event will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by giveaways at 7:15 p.m. It is important to note that participants must be present to win any prizes. The event will conclude at 8 p.m.
