Colorado Springs: Mountain Metro Returns to Full Capacity on Buses

Trending...
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Mountain Metro will return to full capacity on buses Friday, May 28.

There will not be any changes to service at this time and current service levels will continue. Despite the change to full capacity on buses, the mask mandate will be enforced on all public conveyances. Following the CDC and Federal Transit Administration's guidelines, all members of the public using public transportation must wear a mask covering their mouth and nose with the following exceptions:
  • A child under the age of 2 years;
  • A person with a disability who cannot wear a mask, or cannot safely wear a mask, because of the disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq.);
  • A person for whom wearing a mask would create a risk to workplace health, safety, or job duty as determined by the relevant workplace safety guidelines or federal regulations.

MMT's ADA paratransit services will also be operating at full capacity. Riders are strongly encouraged to go to Mountain Metro's alert webpage and visit us on facebook and twitter for the latest updates.
