The Mayor's Young Leader Awards were established in 2015 to recognize the outstanding achievements of young professionals under the age of 40. This year's winners were selected from a pool of 21 finalists across seven categories.

The 2025 award recipients are as follows:

- Military Leaders Award: Major Matthew Johnson from the United States Army

- Technology and Sustainability: Major Kevin Cardenas from the United States Air Force

- Sports, Health and Wellness: Nicole Weis from Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at UCCS

- Education: Jessica Wise from Colorado Springs School District 11

- Economic Impact: Trevor Terrill from EarthX

- Creative Industry: Michelle Winchell from Downtown Partnership

- Community Impact: Monique Lewis from Care and Share Food Bank
