~ The City of Colorado Springs has launched a new online Parking Finder tool to help residents, commuters and visitors locate various forms of available parking in Downtown Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City. Developed in partnership with Modii, a provider of smart mobility solutions, the interactive website leverages real-time data to allow users to find free parking, paid parking (including rates), handicapped-meter parking, and other forms of parking.
Scott Lee, the City's Parking Enterprise Director, said "The new Parking Finder tool directly addresses the challenges users can face in locating available parking. The convenience of this tool puts parking availability in an easy-to-use format for all our users, no matter their parking needs."

The tool allows users to select options for the various forms of parking as well as alternative transportation options such as Pike Ride Hub and Zeb Shuttles. Users can enter a specific address or building location, set a time frame to find immediate or future parking by date and/or time, and enter the amount of time needed. The interface also shows where no parking is allowed.
When users find the desired type of parking, they are provided with more information such as cost per hour, availability of EV charging stations, a link to the City's ParkMobile payment service, and special event parking fees. Furthermore, city officials can use the tool to gather data which will assist them in planning and management of current and future infrastructure. The Parking Finder tool can be found at ColoradoSprings.gov/ParkingFinder.
