The free class, organized by Colorado Legal Services and the City of Colorado Springs' Housing and Homelessness Response Department, aims to educate renters on their rights and responsibilities under Colorado law.
Led by Colorado Legal Services attorney Clinton Albert, the two-hour workshop will cover a range of topics including lease basics, reasonable accommodations and modifications, deposits, repairs, evictions, and recent updates to state housing legislation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about local organizations that offer housing and legal resources.
