~ The Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services Advisory Board is seeking residents to fill two alternate volunteer positions on the Trails, Open Space, and Parks (TOPS) Working Committee. This committee plays a crucial role in the growth and development of community parks in Colorado Springs.
According to the TOPS Ordinance, the committee consists of nine members appointed by the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Advisory Board. These members work together to guide the city in acquiring, preserving, and developing trails, open spaces, and parks for future generations in the Pikes Peak region.
Interested applicants must be residents of Colorado Springs and have a passion for the development of community parks, trails, open spaces, recreation resources, and facilities. The committee meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 am at PRCS Administration located at 1401 Recreation Way.

There are currently two vacancies for alternate members on the committee. To apply for these positions, interested individuals must submit their applications by Friday, November 14th at 5:00 pm. Applications can be submitted online at ColoradoSprings.gov/boards or emailed to Ayana Garcia at Ayana.Garcia@coloradosprings.gov. Alternatively, applications can be mailed to City Council at 107 N Nevada Suite #300 in Colorado Springs.
