~ Colorado Springs, CO - The City of Colorado Springs has announced the closure of the Cheyenne Road bridge, located approximately 200 feet west of Cresta Road, for maintenance work from April 3-11. The closure is necessary to complete waterproofing and pavement replacement on the bridge structure, as well as repairs on other items. The work is expected to extend the service life of the bridge and minimize future repairs and road closures.
Weather permitting, the maintenance work is scheduled to be completed by April 11. However, prior to the closure of the Cheyenne Road bridge, work on the nearby Cresta Road bridge will be finished on Wednesday, April 2.
