DENVER ~ As the polls closed in Colorado at 7 pm Mountain Time, voters were reminded to stay in line if they were already waiting to cast their ballots. According to Governor Polis, it is crucial for all Coloradans to make their voices heard by participating in this year's general election.
In a statement released today, Governor Polis emphasized the importance of voting, stating that those who vote have the power to shape the future of the country. He encouraged every Coloradan to exercise their right to vote, as a strong democracy relies on the participation of all citizens.

For those who have not yet voted, there is still time. In-person polling places will remain open until 7 pm today, and mail-in ballots can be dropped off at designated polling places or drop boxes. A list of these locations can be found on the state's website.
