Colorado Springs: One block of Tejon Street in downtown closing through December

Trending...
~ As the Tejon Street Revitalization Project enters its final phase, Tejon Street in Downtown Colorado Springs will be temporarily closed to all vehicles from Pikes Peak Avenue to East Kiowa Street. The closure, which will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 2 and last through December, is necessary for the construction of sidewalk, patio and street improvements.

Despite the road closure, pedestrian routes will remain open to ensure access to businesses in the area. However, street parking will not be available until further notice. To accommodate for this inconvenience, businesses on this block will receive vouchers for two hours of free parking at nearby City garages.
