DENVER ~ In a move to safeguard the integrity of Colorado's elections, Governor Polis has taken action by issuing an Executive Order today. The order aims to maintain the state's reputation as a national leader in secure and fair elections.

Governor Polis emphasized the importance of protecting the right to vote for all eligible Coloradans and ensuring that every vote is accurately counted. He stated, "In Colorado, we believe in the right to a free and fair election and ensuring every eligible Coloradan is able to vote and every vote is counted accurately."

The Executive Order includes activating members of the Colorado National Guard to assist with cybersecurity defense efforts for the upcoming 2024 General Election on November 5. This measure has been implemented in previous elections as well.
