TELLER COUNTY ~ Teller County - A tragic accident at the Mollie Kathleen Mine has resulted in the loss of a life, according to a statement released by Governor Jared Polis. The incident, which occurred on [date], has left the community in shock and mourning.
In his statement, Governor Polis expressed his sadness and extended his condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim. He also assured that the state of Colorado is working closely with local authorities to gather information and provide support for the safe rescue of those still in the mine.
The state has already deployed personnel to the site and more are on their way to assess the situation and assist local authorities.
