DENVER ~ Flags across Colorado will be flying at half staff on Saturday, August 15, 2026 in honor of the late Rep. Lois Landgraf. Governor Polis issued the order today to pay tribute to the former Colorado House of Representatives member who passed away on June 1, 2026.

Rep. Landgraf served as a representative for El Paso County from 2013 to 2021 and was known for her dedication to serving her community and the state. She spent her life in service to Colorado, with a special focus on supporting veterans.

In a statement, Governor Polis praised Rep. Landgraf's commitment to public service and highlighted her lasting impact on El Paso County and the state as a whole. He also announced that a celebration of life will be held on August 15 at The Gathering Place at the Farm in Colorado Springs.

The flags will be lowered from sunrise to sunset on Saturday as a mark of respect for Rep. Landgraf's memory and her contributions to Colorado.
