The Let's Get Ready initiative was launched in July with a year-long plan to support governors in driving innovative education policies. These policies aim to better evaluate outcomes for state investments in education while also preparing students for future workforce needs at all stages of their educational journey.

This event was part of a series of convenings held in Salt Lake City, Denver, Las Vegas, New York City, and Washington D.C. Governor Polis plans to release a roadmap of initiative findings this summer during NGA's Summer Meeting in Colorado Springs on July 24-25. More information about the Let's Get Ready initiative can be found on NGA's website.

Governor Polis and the NGA are committed to working with international counterparts to gain fresh perspectives and learn from successful approaches in tackling similar challenges. By collaborating with education leaders from different countries, they hope to find new solutions and improve outcomes for students across the United States.
