DENVER ~ In a press release issued today, Governor Polis announced the appointment of Daniel W. Warhola to the 18th Judicial District Court. This decision comes after the retirement of the Honorable Gary Kramer and will be effective on August 3, 2024.

Warhola brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Colorado since 2022. His focus has been on criminal matters, making him well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of a judge.

Prior to this appointment, Warhola held positions as Senior Deputy District Attorney (2021-2022) and Deputy District Attorney (2014-2021) in the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office. He also served as a Deputy District Attorney in the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office from 2013 to 2014.

Warhola's impressive credentials include a B.S.B.A. from the University of Richmond in 2009 and a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2013.
