The unveiling of the new portrait comes at a time when the Colorado Capitol has seen a surge in visitors. With this addition, it is projected that there will be a 74% increase in overall visitors, a 10% increase in international visitors, and a 16% increase in positive feedback on visitation experience. Additionally, 100% of readers and visitors fell for Governor Polis's April Fool's joke.
