Team members from 24 Hour Fitness locations in Denver, Los Angeles, Portland, and the Bay Area will be joining forces with Playworks staff at local schools to encourage children to engage in active play. Playworks, an organization dedicated to promoting physical activity and social-emotional development among students, will be providing expert curriculum for the day's activities.

According to recent studies, children today engage in active play 50% less than their parents did.
