Denver, CO- Today marks the start of the highly anticipated Denver Restaurant Week, now in its 21st year. The event, organized by VISIT DENVER, promises to offer amazing dining experiences at unbeatable price points. To celebrate this milestone, Mayor Johnston and industry leaders gathered at Ace Eat Serve for a toast.
The location of the event holds special significance as Ace Eat Serve has been a guest favorite since the inception of Denver Restaurant Week. In an exciting new addition this year, diners can create an account on denverrestaurantweek.com and mark their favorite restaurants for easy access. The portal also allows users to keep track of their personalized Denver Restaurant Week experience by marking when they have visited a restaurant. At the end of the event, diners can share their conquests on social media with a Spotify Wrapped-style summary.
Denver Restaurant Week was first launched in 2005 with the aim of showcasing Denver's growing culinary scene during a traditionally slow time for restaurants. It also aimed to improve the reputation of Denver's culinary offerings among locals and visitors alike. In its inaugural year, 83 restaurants participated in the program. Since then, Denver Restaurant Week has grown to highlight Denver as a top culinary destination, with multiple James Beard Award-winning chefs and Michelin Guide recognized restaurants taking part in the event.
None of this would be possible without the generous support of sponsors such as Swire Coca-Cola, Uber Eats, Don Fulano Tequila, High Noon, J Vineyards & Winery, Montenegro, Orin Swift Cellars, Rombauer Vineyards, Colorado Restaurant Association-Mile High Chapter, Downtown Denver Partnership. Media sponsors 5280 Magazine, CBS Colorado and Westword have also played a crucial role in promoting the event.
