Specializing in women's health, the health and performance center connects medical care, mental health, nutrition, strength training and more. It will host Breast Health, Together on October 27.
BOULDER, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- Dr. Lauren Rudolph has spent her career helping people return to the activities they love. When the sports medicine physician became a breast cancer patient, she experienced a side of recovery she couldn't fully know from the exam room. There were medical decisions to make, but also uncertainty, changes in her body, and the gradual work of feeling like herself again.
That experience helped shape Well&Boulder, the health and performance center she founded with entrepreneur Amanda Warner. They wanted to create a place where people feel known, have time to ask questions, and receive care that considers how their health affects the rest of their lives.
"Being a patient changed what I understood about care," Rudolph said. "You need good medical guidance, but you also need support for everything that happens between appointments. We wanted to make room for both at Well&Boulder."
At 2830 Valmont Road, that vision is reflected in the space itself. A rotating collection of local artwork, curated by Sara Sanderson, lines the halls. The strength studio is bright and airy. Specializing in women's health, the center was designed to help people feel at ease from the moment they walk in, whether they're there for an appointment or picking up a barbell.
