BOULDER, Colo. - ColoradoDesk -- Nu-Rock Technology, an Australian company, won the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association's (CCIA) sixth annual Mining Cleantech Challenge Thursday, April 21, 2022. Nu-Rock Technology is a waste site remediation company with the technical capability to transform industrial waste sites into green sites permanently.

The sixth annual Mining Cleantech Challenge featured 12 companies from the United States, Canada, and Australia. Each company was selected through a competitive vetting process by leaders and technology experts in the mining industry and were invited to present virtually. Technologies introduced at the Mining Cleantech Challenge offered sustainable solutions to the mining industry.

"I was humbled to have our company Nu-Rock Technology awarded first place in the sixth annual Mining Cleantech Challenge. Not realizing how high the fantastic level of judges reviewing the challenge made it an excellent experience, and it was exciting to be able to provide the judges with an answer within the time frame. The questions asked were straightforward and showed a high understanding of what Nu-Rock Technology can provide.
