DENVER ~ In a major victory for Colorado families and the state's Universal Preschool program, the 10th Circuit of Appeals has upheld a federal district court's decision to deny a permanent injunction against the state in the case of St Mary's Catholic Parish v. Roy.

Governor Jared Polis expressed his satisfaction with the ruling, stating that Colorado's highly popular and free Universal Preschool has not only saved families over $6,000 per year, but has also given students a strong start in their education. The program has also significantly improved Colorado's preschool enrollment rankings, moving from 27th to 3rd in the nation.
