DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MemberPass™, the easy and contactless identity solution application, has been deployed to four different credit unions across the United States. In the current climate, it is vital for credit union members to verify their identity in a safe way. The application allows members to be in complete control of their personal information and how it is shared, ultimately instilling trust in digital interactions.
Each of the credit unions said they selected MemberPass to provide their members with a more secure, user friendly way to authenticate their identity across all their member contact points creating a seamless, omni-channel experience for members. Credit unions nationwide are facing an increase in fraud attempts as criminals take advantage of branch closings and the need to conduct financial business via phone, drive-through lines or online.
Wyoming-based First Education Credit Union started enrolling new members in MemberPass in Mid-October. "We are thrilled to incorporate MemberPass into our capabilities," said Jim Yates, president of First Education Credit Union. "The application demonstrates our commitment to providing our members a secure banking experience even during uncertain times. And as a small credit union, MemberPass will allow our credit union to stay competitive with larger financial institutions."

Based in Illinois, SIU Credit Union has already enrolled a small group of members into MemberPass, with additional rollouts continuing through the fall. "At a time where in-person branch visits have halted due to COVID-19, MemberPass has been the perfect accommodation to offer our members security and peace of mind at a time when they need it most," said Mark Dynis, Vice President of Marketing for SIU Credit Union. "CULedger has streamlined every step of this process, creating a seamless experience for credit unions and their members."
Michigan-Based 4Front Credit Union originally engaged CULedger for creative ways to leverage blockchain designs to better serve their members and MemberPass' Symitar integration and omnichannel approach has exceeded their expectations thus far. "MemberPass has already tremendously improved our digital capabilities by offering a seamless identity verification without causing our members any friction," said Zach Eychaner, Senior Vice President of Strategic Innovation for 4Front Credit Union. "CULedger is truly invested in the success of this application and we look forward to a prosperous partnership."
Lastly, Achieva Credit Union will be implementing MemberPass into their digital offerings. The Florida-based credit union was attracted to MemberPass because of its security measures. "At Achieva Credit Union we're always striving to increase member security and streamline processes to enhance the member experience," said Sue Behring, Vice President Member Service Center. " MemberPass allows our call center to provide a simplified, safe and secure identification method that also saves time, allowing our team to more quickly provide service. It's a win-win scenario for our members and our staff and we're thrilled to be able to offer this new feature."
