PORTSMOUTH, N.H. - ColoradoDesk -- Drummond Group LLC, the trusted leader in interoperability software testing, today announced the latest Drummond Certified™ B2B software applications based on the AS4 and ebMS 2.0 standards during this year's first quarter test event.
Software applications from ArcESB, Axway, Cleo, DiCentral, HelpSystems and OpenText participated in Drummond's eighth AS4 test event. New products certifying for the first time were from Cleo, DiCentral and HelpSystems. ArcESB, Axway and OpenText have been active participants since 2014.

Additionally, three products developed by Axway, OpenText and Oxlo Systems were Drummond Certified™ through their successful completion of the ebMS-1Q21 interoperability test. ebMS 2.0 products are globally utilized in several industries, including financial services, government, healthcare, retail and automotive (the STAR profile and compression).
"The Drummond Certified™ program has provided numerous companies innovative ways to test their latest software applications versions in a vendor-neutral environment for many years," said Aaron Gomez, Drummond's Supply Chain Security Practice Lead. "Our first quarter AS4 and ebMS test events enhance increased support of interoperable products based on these two standards. Global organizations recognize the importance of AS4 interoperability and the digital security benefits gained throughout the exchange of highly sensitive documents. Simultaneously, multiple industries worldwide continue to rely on a wide range of ebMS standard-based applications for business data exchange over the Internet in a secure and reliable method."
The AS4 standard is well established in Europe and provides a secure web-services approach for document-agnostic exchange of B2B payloads. AS4 also continues to be adopted globally as a messaging standard for secure message exchange.

As the messaging layer of the ebXML framework, ebMS 2.0 is an OASIS standard that enables secure and reliable Internet data interchange complementary to emerging Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs). ebXML Messaging (also called TRP – Transport Routing & Packaging) specifically focuses on the means to transmit a document (payload) from one party to another, possibly via intermediaries.
