Eligibility

To become a professional drone pilot:

• Minimum of 16 years old
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English
• Exhibit physical and mental condition to safely fly a drone
• Pass initial aeronautical knowledge exam

To Obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate:

• Must be easily accessible by the remote pilot during all UAS operations
• Valid for 2 years. Certificate holders must pass a recurrent knowledge test every two years
