DENVER, Sept. 17, 2025 ~ Denver, CO - The highly esteemed MICHELIN Guide has once again recognized the culinary excellence of Denver's restaurant scene. In its third year of covering Colorado, the MICHELIN Guide has awarded 32 restaurants in Denver with prestigious honors.
The anonymous inspectors of the MICHELIN Guide have carefully selected a diverse range of restaurants across the city that embody exceptional culinary skills. This recognition places Denver alongside other popular Colorado destinations such as Boulder, Aspen and Snowmass Village, and the Town of Vail and Beaver Creek Resort. The Colorado MICHELIN Guide is now the eighth destination in North America to be featured in this renowned guide, thanks to a partnership with the Colorado Tourism Office.
Richard W. Scharf, president and CEO of Visit Denver, expressed his congratulations to all the recognized restaurants in Denver. He also highlighted the state's first ever two-starred restaurant, The Wolf's Tailor, as well as newly selected one-starred restaurants Kizaki, Margot and Mezcaleria Alma. Other notable mentions include Alteño, Ukiyo and Wildflower for being recommended by the MICHELIN Guide.

Scharf also acknowledged three special award winners from Denver - Dustin Lawlor of Hop Alley for Exceptional Cocktails Award, Heather Morrison of Restaurant Olivia for Outstanding Service Award and Aiden Tibbetts of Wildflower for Michelin Young Chef Award. These awards are a testament to their commitment to providing top-notch hospitality standards.
The MICHELIN Guide recognizes restaurants at various levels based on five criteria: quality of products, mastery of cooking technique, harmony and balance of flavors, personality of the chef as expressed in their cuisine, and consistency between visits and throughout their menu. The coveted MICHELIN Stars are awarded to those who excel in all these areas. The Bib Gourmand selection highlights restaurants that offer great quality food at reasonable prices while maintaining high standards. The Green Star is given to restaurants that are leaders in sustainable gastronomy. And finally, the Recommended restaurants are those that consistently prepare high-quality meals with fresh ingredients.
The list of celebrated Denver restaurants includes The Wolf's Tailor, which received two MICHELIN Stars, making it the first restaurant in the state to achieve this honor. Other one-starred restaurants include Alma Fonda Fina, Beckon, Brutø, Kizaki, Margot and Mezcaleria Alma. The Green Star was awarded to Brutø and The Wolf's Tailor. The Bib Gourmand category features popular spots such as Ash'Kara, The Ginger Pig, Glo Noodle House, Hop Alley, La Diabla Pozole y Mezcal, MAKfam, Mister Oso and Tavernetta. And lastly, the Recommended Restaurants include A5 Steakhouse, Alteño, Barolo Grill, Brasserie Brixton, Dio Mio, Guard and Grace, Hey Kiddo, Kawa Ni, Marco's Coal Fired Pizza and Mercantile Dining and Provision.
