~ Colorado Springs City Clerk to Conduct Candidate Training for Upcoming Municipal Election
The City Clerk of Colorado Springs has announced that a candidate training session will be held on Thursday, Jan. 2 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the City Administration Building located at 30 S. Nevada Ave, Room 102. This training is specifically designed for residents who are interested in running for a City Council District position.
The training will cover important information about the upcoming General Municipal Election, including guidelines for candidate filing and campaign finance laws. The session will also be recorded and made available on the City's website at ColoradoSprings.gov/CandidateInformation.

On April 1, 2025, the General Municipal Election will take place to elect six district City Council positions in Colorado Springs. To determine which council district a residential address is located in and to see a list of current city council members, residents can visit ColoradoSprings.gov/CityCouncilDistricts.
For those interested in running for a position, candidate filing packets can be obtained from the City Clerk's Office at 30 South Nevada Avenue, Suite 101 between Dec. 31, 2024 and Jan. 21, 2025 during office hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The deadline for filing is January 21 at 5 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to visit ColoradoSprings.gov/Election or contact the City Clerk's Office at (719)385-5901 (Option 4) for additional important information regarding candidates and the election process.
